Overview

The UOB Digital Banking team conceives, creates and runs a wide range of digital platforms and assets. As part of our drive to create the most engaging digital banking experiences possible, we are expanding our digital design teams in all areas.

You will be part of a vibrant and dynamic team at the heart of the new UOB Digital Bank, responsible for innovating the way customers engage with the bank through the most personalised experiences possible.

Role Overview

As our work expands across multiple countries, platforms and systems, there is a need to systemise our management of digital design assets. These assets are currently held in a range of systems and formats. In addition, the design team’s time, focus and attention across multiple workstreams needs to be coordinated.

This is a unique role for an experienced UI/UX or Digital Project Manager to develop and run a Design Operations (DesignOps) approach common in large-scale digital businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Work with teams to design and define global design solutions
  • Create UX checklists for platforms (Web, App) and sections to be used by teams across Product Design
  • Define product design processes, standards, and best practices
  • Set up a team calendar (absences and release schedules) and JIRA Board to keep the efforts of all of Product Design transparent and readily accessible for team members and stakeholders
  • Champion evolving technologies and determine how to incorporate them into the operational and creative workflows
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Research to develop key metrics and create dashboards
  • Manage A/B testing process including hypothesis setting, KPI selection and goals, requirements gathering, test execution, measuring success, and share learnings

Job Requirements

  • 3-6 years’ UX and digital design experience
  • Experience in Agile Software Development and wider IT Project Management
  • Good understanding of common Agile development tools such as Git, Jira, Zeplyn,
  • Demonstrate an understanding of UX design, information hierarchy, user-flows, composition, layout, colour and typography
  • Experience working with and documenting style guides/pattern libraries/design systems
  • Familiar with front-end development technologies such as HTML/CSS and JavaScript
  • Ability to communicate user experience and design concepts to stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to articulate the need for strong design operations at a senior stakeholder level.
