Developing the Next Generation of Leaders
UOB’s Business Circle and PriviGen Programme are initiatives designed to empower Asia’s next-generation of leaders in family-owned businesses.
Launched in 2019, The Business Circle provides young entrepreneurs and family business managers with masterclasses, workshops, and overseas business missions, focusing on areas such as digital transformation, sustainability, and business diversification.
Leveraging UOB’s regional network, members embark on regular immersion trips to markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and most recently China, to explore advancements in digital economies and retail models.
With its expansion into Thailand in 2023 and Malaysia in 2024, The Business Circle promotes business collaboration and sustainable growth in ASEAN amongst next generation leaders.
The PriviGen Programme brought together the next generation of our Privilege Banking clients from Singapore and across the region.
The programme imparts financial literacy and industry insights to participants through a series of curated workshops with topics ranging from financial education, property investing, networking and negotiation skills. Participants also gained insights for their entrepreneurial journey through fireside chats with industry experts.
Participants gain expertise in investment management, estate planning, and entrepreneurship through interactive workshops, mentorship, and networking events.
Together, these initiatives foster a collaborative environment where future leaders develop the skills, insights, and connections needed to preserve family legacies while navigating the complexities of an evolving global economy.
