From 14 January - 27 January 2025, you can withdraw new/fit notes at any of our 17 LNY New Notes or 4 Fit-for-Gifting (Fit) Notes locations.

What is LNY new notes ATM and where can I find them?

LNY new notes ATM allows you to withdraw new notes at your convenience.

There are 30 LNY new notes ATMs set up across 17 locations. You can refer to the table above for the specific locations and operating hours.

Please note that each customer is limited to 2 withdrawals per ATM/Debit card daily, based on 4 available options:

  1. $2 notes x 50 pieces ($100)
  2. $10 notes x 30 pieces ($300)
  3. $50 notes x 16 pieces ($800)
  4. $10 notes x 30 pieces + $50 notes x 10 pieces ($800)

This service is offered on a first come, first served basis, and is subject to availability.

'Fit-for-gifting' notes are not brand-new notes issued by the MAS. Fit-for-gifting notes are notes that have been used, are generally clean, and deemed to be of suitable quality for recirculation by the MAS, including for festive gifting.

LNY ATMs are exclusively set up for the withdrawal of new and fit-for-gifting notes from 14 January to 27 January 2025 during the stated operating hours. For transactions other than withdrawal of new and fit notes, please use other non-LNY ATMs that are available.

There are no fees associated with the use of our LNY ATMs.

Withdrawal Limits

You can withdraw up to a maximum of S$1,600 from the LNY ATMs, with a limit of 2 withdrawals per ATM/debit card per day, based on 4 available predefined options below:

  1. $2 notes x 50 pieces ($100)
  2. $10 notes x 30 pieces ($300)
  3. $50 notes x 16 pieces ($800)
  4. $10 notes x 30 pieces + $50 notes x 10 pieces ($800)

Withdrawals can only be made using the 4 predefined options available on our LNY ATMs.

Each customer is limited to 2 withdrawals per ATM/debit card per day, based on the 4 available options. This service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to availability.

If customers have completed 2 withdrawals and attempt a third time, a message will appear on the ATM, indicating that they have reached the maximum number of note withdrawals.

Yes, customers can do so if their ATM/debit cards are linked to different UOB accounts. Every customer is limited to a maximum of 2 withdrawals per ATM/debit card per day.

1 ATM/debit card can only be used for a maximum of 2 withdrawals, even though there may be more than 1 account linked to the card.

Your daily ATM withdrawal limit depends on the amount that you have set and this includes NETS transactions. Do note that NETS, ATM withdrawals and third-party fund transfer limits will reset daily.

This service is only available to customers with a UOB Savings/Current deposit account and linked ATM/debit card.

The LNY ATMs are specifically designed to offer our customers an additional option to withdraw LNY notes. Unlike regular UOB ATMs, these machines are dedicated to dispensing new and fit for gifting LNY notes, which are limited in supply. As such, we regret that we are unable to provide this service for 24 hours a day or at more locations.

Below are the alternative options that you may consider:

  • Withdraw fit-for-gifting notes: If new notes are unavailable, you can opt for fit-for-gifting notes, which are suitable for festive gifting.
  • Use eAngBao: Consider using eAngBao, a digital alternative to traditional red packets. This option is available via our UOB TMRW app and is convenient and environmentally friendly.
  • Visit another LNY ATM: You can check the locations of other LNY ATMs nearby and visit one of them to withdraw new notes. For the full listing of LNY ATM locations, please refer to the table above.

Yes, LNY ATMs are an additional channel we have provided for your convenience. The existing online reservation system for physical collection of notes remains available for all customers.

Elderly customers who are aged 60 and above and persons with special needs can also visit our branches for the physical exchange of LNY notes on a first come, first served basis, and subject to availability.

You are not required to make any reservation as this service is on a first come, first served basis, and subject to availability.
